30, 2006 - Amidst the coming threat of Super Typhoon Reming, Khan
Online’s Marketing Team gave their loyal subjects a very big surprise
that not only surprised many but also irritated and angered some.

Reming’s Surprise Sale as it was called caught everyone by surprised (hence the name surprise sale, hehehehe).

The
sale featured full accessory sets upgraded to +6 for all classes
(Knight, Cleric, Assassin, Necromancer, Sorcerer and Micko) at a
whopping low price of only PHP 250 or 2,500 Tugriks. I bet no
blackmarket trader could ever beat that price.

BUT, this
marketing ploy only angered some loyal customers. Ranting that the said
sale should have been announced. Ain’t that funny? An announced
"surprise sale"? I guess they failed to grasp the concept of surprise
for a brief moment there, hehehehe. Honestly, I’m not happy with it
myself but what can I do? It was a surprise and boy was I surprised.

In
my opinion, Reming’s Surprise Sale was a big success because it did
what it suppose to do and that’s to surprise everyone. Hell, even
FM-Shaider and FM-Shemhazai were suprised.

Now, they need to do
a follow-up to this sale. Maybe offer a Rush Hour Sale of the same
items. They can increase the price if they want since it won’t be a
surprise anymore at least it will appease some (not all) players.
